    Dementia related conditions are becoming more prevalent in society today, one reason being people live longer. This doesn’t mean people who live with these conditions shouldn’t continue to live a full and active life, but it may mean extra care and support maybe required to do so.

The Alzheimer’s Show, which attracted over 2,000 visitors to its unique two-day event in June this year, is keen to inform and educate those affected by dementia, including the public, healthcare professionals, families and carers, and those who have been diagnosed.
  • At this year’s Alzheimer’s Show, we at Studio Meineck are excited to announce that Music Memory Box ® is about to embark on the next stage of its journey into production. This summer, we are launching a crowdfunding campaign, which if successful will see the first batch of Music Memory Boxes manufactured and available to purchase by the end of 2016.

    According to new research by Alzheimer’s Society, 56% of people delay seeking help over concerns about memory loss. Some 62% admitted they felt that a diagnosis of dementia would mean their life was over. However, The Alzheimer’s Show’s organisers believe it is possible to live well with dementia, provided those affected gain access to the right support and information.
