Experience the full practical session of the Dementia Interpreters in 1-hour Dementia Interpreter workshop exclusively at The Alzheimer’s Dementia & Care Show.
These sessions allow visitors to have a free 20-minute confidential consultation with an Alzheimer’s Society Dementia Advisor who can assist people with dementia and their carers in identifying their needs, providing individuals with support and help maintain their independence.
They can be booked onsite on the day at the Alzheimer’s Society stand and are on a first come first served basis.
These popular 1-2-1 clinics allow visitors to have a free 25-minute confidential consultation with an Admiral Nurse. Admiral Nurses are specialist dementia nurses supported by Dementia UK, they provide life-changing support for families affected by Alzheimer’s and all forms of dementia.
Sessions can be booked onsite on the day at the Dementia UK stand and are on a first come first served basis.
The CQC will be running an ‘inspector hub’ in UK Care Week. All show attendees are invited to come and speak to a CQC inspector or registration manager to discuss any queries they may have; local inspectors will be able to answer any questions, as well as dealing with registration advice.
