During the course, delegates will be engaged in current practice and understanding, be involved in discussions and learning and will have abilities removed to understand what it is like for people with dementia.  The course content includes:

Sight issues, smells, hearing, touch and texture, speech, environments, distractions, time, presentation, dining area planning, support and new techniques, adapted equipment, colours, time, preparation and planning, mealtime partners and much more.

Delivered to a group of 12 delegates and a 2-hour course, we aim to increase staff awareness, improve food and drink intake, reduce negative responses to mealtimes and reduce costs for the provider.
