SWEETTREE HOME CARE SERVICES HEADLINE SPONSOR 2015
SweetTree – supporting people to live well with dementia
SweetTree Home Care Services is a long-standing supporter of The Alzheimer’s Show and we’re delighted to continue as headline sponsor in 2015.
The Alzheimer’s Show is the only event of its kind in the UK and provides practical advice and information for those with dementia, their relatives and carers. It is unique in bringing together specialist care and support services that can help those with dementia and their families to live their lives to the full.

What to expect at The Alzheimer’s Show 2015
Whether you’re a relative, carer or a care professional, you’ll find practical advice and information on making dealing with dementia that little bit easier. From exhibitors sharing the latest products and new ideas, to expert talks, activities workshops and special clinics with the Admiral Nurses, there will be something for everyone.
SweetTree’s specialist dementia care team was behind a number of popular features introduced at last year’s show and we’re delighted to say these will be returning in 2015 even bigger and better than before!
SweetTree Quiet Lounge
The SweetTree Quiet Lounge is a unique room specially designed to offer tranquillity and timeout from the busy exhibition space for those with dementia. Available throughout the event, the Quiet Lounge gives those with dementia a place to relax while family members explore all the show has to offer. They are able to sit with a cup of tea and a pastry, while trying out aromatherapy and reflexology with an experienced health practitioner from SweetTree.
Places are limited and do get booked up fast, so if you would like to make use of the Quiet Lounge then make sure you get in touch with Nadene at SweetTree on 020 7624 9944 or by emailing nadene.marlborough@sweettree.co.uk ahead of the show. You can also pop by when you arrive at show to see if any spaces are still available.
Practical Activities Workshops
These popular, interactive workshops will run across the two days of the show and bring together experts from a range of disciplines. Each workshop will offer visitors ideas for how they may help improve and enhance the lives of those they care for with dementia. Topics will range from music and crafts, to aromatherapy, diet and nutrition, seated exercise, specialist sensory equipment, gardening and horticulture and ways to adapt the home environment.
