MEMORY WALK – RAISING MONEY FOR ALZHEIMER'S SOCIETY

MEMORY WALK – Raising money for Alzheimer’s Society One of the Alzheimer’s Show team (plus six year old son) will be doing the 5K Memory Walk in Beaconsfield on Sunday 8 September.

“Hi. I will be walking, with six year old Henry, on behalf of all of the friends and contacts I have made whilst working for The Alzheimer’s Show.

My key objective for doing this walk is to simply raise awareness of dementia and its related illnesses including Alzhiemer’s, Lewy Bodies, Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease and HIV-related cognitive impairment, but if I could also raise some money for the Alzheimer’s Society that would be great.

Through my work with The Alzheimer’s Show, I have seen first hand how debilitating and devastating this illness dementia can be, but equally I have witnesses the great commitment, thought and care that people put into making life with dementia easier for those living with it and those caring for someone with the illness – whether they are a friend, relative of professional carer.

If you would like to make a contribution to the Alzheimer’s Society through my JustGiving page that would be fabulous.
