David Cameron supports The Alzheimer's Show

We have just received a letter from the Prime Minister with a message of support. David Cameron said that dementia is a high priority issue for the Government and their challenge on dementia is designed to make a real difference to the lives of people with dementia, their families and carers. Exactly what we at The Alzheimer’s Show are aiming to achieve.

David Cameron said:
“Dementia is one of the most important issues we face as a society. The Alzheimer’s Show is an excellent opportunity to help raise awareness and understanding of dementia and to help ensure that people with dementia, their carers and families get the services and support they need”.

We are extremely pleased the Prime Minister has endorsed this important event.

We are also very grateful for all the support we have received from Paul Burstow, Minister of State for Care Services, Professor Alistair Burns, National Clinical Director for Dementia, Alzheimer’s Research UK, The Alzheimer’s Society, Dementia UK, Dementia Action Alliance, Guideposts Trust, The Law Society and Lynda Bellingham.
